To boldly go where no manic pixie dream girl has gone before.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 1499
Panel 1Let's do another exterior shot of the starships Pbbttppbt-fff and Causa Sui, cruising side-by-side. Rear view, showing the system's twin suns in the background.
CP (from Pbbttppbt-fff): We have shared a great deal of information about ourselves with you now.
CP: It is time that you shared more about yourselves.
CP: Such as where you are from, and how you travel great distances.
Panel 2
Closer 2-shot of CP and Hugo.
Hugo: Yes, of course your point is quite reasonable.
Hugo: It's just that we have never before encountered a space-faring race in our explorations.
Hugo: The consequences for our own society could be quite … unpredictable.
Hugo: Can you understand our caution?
Panel 3
The entourage continues down the corridor.
CP: Consider that this is our first contact with you, who clearly possess technology far advanced from ours.
CP: We know nothing about your culture. Despite your assurances, you could be advance scouts for an invasion force.
CP: Or, you could be allied with our adversaries.
Panel 4
Now a suddenly excited Hugo stops and turns toward CP.
Hugo: 'Adversaries?'
Hugo: You mean there are other space-faring civilizations here besides your own?
Hugo: Is there a common ancestry, or did you evolve separately, or ...
Panel 5
CP holds up a hand in the classic 'talk to the hand' gesture.
CP: Enough! I have said too much.
CP: If you wish this discussion to continue, I must insist you answer our questions.
CP: Otherwise there can be no trust between us.
Panel 6
Hugo, appearing defeated, starts talking.
Hugo: Very well, Captain.
Hugo: We do indeed come from a distant galaxy. We … that is, my people, have explored several of them. We have colonized worlds in many.
Hugo: As for how we get around, well, that will be a bit difficult to explain ...
