Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.

Panel 1Back to the conference room on the planet. Pfbbbtt-Pfft is displaying a map of her government's astrotory, holographically above the table.
Pfbbbtt-Pfft: Our United Confederacy spans nearly 20 percent of the galaxy's spiral arms.
PP: The seat of government rotates among eight different population centers, with an additional 42 regional offices dealing with local matters.
Panel 2
Medium c/u on Hugo, looking like he wants to burst but keeping still.
PP (OP): As you can see, the K'Tagon and Soraxian empires border us on the counter-spinward side, while the Brennir border us on the spinward side.
PP: While the extent of the CUSH dominion is unknown, they have been making increasing incursions in all our star systems closest to the galactic center.
PP: We are not certain whether the CUSH are coming from the center, or from beyond it in the unexplored arms.

PP, Murphy, Hugo, Eithne
PP: We are a peaceful people, but we must defend ourselves. Your advanced technologies will aid us considerably.
Hugo (thoughtsend): Murphy! Make some excuse and let's go!
Murphy (thoughtsend): Hugo, can't you see the opportunity for us here?
Hugo (thoughtsend): Sorry, the dire threat keeps obscuring my view.
