Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Scott's home and studio were without electric power for three days after the freak winter ice/snow storm hit Texas last week. That plus needing a day to recover and recuperate has eaten up his buffer of strips and put him a week behind schedule. We regret that a one-week pause in uploads is unfortunately necessary.

Panel 3
She lies still as Doctor Kkphhht-blt enters, with a large male orderly. DK is holding a tablet.
DK: I am Doctor Kkphhht-blt.
DK: We had to induce a coma while you were in treatment.
DK: You are lucky that device did not rupture your innards more severely.
Eithne (thought): You have a low threshold for 'lucky,' four-eyes.
