Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 1551

Panel 1
Eithne is waking up again this time she's on a bench and she's not bound but has a collar strapped around her neck that is obviously electronic.
Caption: And so ...
Eithne: ..? what ...
Panel 2
Eithne is sitting up on the bench, feeling the collar on her neck and trying to figure out how to remove it.
Eithne (thought): the SHUCK?
Eithne: What is this thing on my neck?
Eithne: How can I get it off?
Panel 3
Pull back to show that Eithne is in a 3-meter-square room with the bench she's laying on , a table and chairs on opposite sides. Special Agent Plplplplpl-Pftt enters through a doorway, carrying a tablet. A guard is visible standing aside in the corridor.
SAPP: You cannot remove the safety collar.
SAPP: We prefer not to use such devices but you have made it necessary.
SAPP: I am Special Agent Plplplplpl-Pftt, and I'm here to help you.
