Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 3
Looking past Shlack at Hugo and Murphy on his viewscreen
Hugo (thougtsend): We have to get aboard that ship somehow.
Murphy (thoughtsend): That will be difficult without functioning hoppers.
Hugo (thoughtsend): Then we'll have to get them to invite us.
Shlack: … er ...
Panel 4
Medium shot of Shlack trying his best to look welcoming.
Shlack: … I think it would benefit us more to deal with you as potential trading partners.
Shlack: I invite you and your companion to join with us on my ship as guests, and we can comfortably get acquainted and explore possibilities for cooperation, yesss?
Panel 5
Exterior shot of the Starships CS and Dryhaven.
Murphy (from CS): We … accept your kind invitation.
Shlack (from Dryhaven) Excellent! We can transmat you over when you're ready.
Murphy: Ah, I hope you won't be offended, but we prefer not to use your transmat.
Panel 6
Hugo and Murphy on Shlack's viewscreen, Shlack strokes his chin looking at them.
Murphy: We can come across via personal rocket-packs. It won't take very long.
Shlack: Ah. Well, I suppose that works.
Hugo (thoughtsend): Nice improvisation.
Murphy (thoughtsend): I just hope you know what we're doing.
