Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) - By Scott Bieser

QV on a short break [ Jul 15, 2026 ]

QUANTUM VIVE is taking a break for a few weeks, as we prepare for Part 2 of the Novo Palermo story, and also for a Kickstarter campaign for Part 1, which will start in September.

In the meantime, Not-Safe.Space will continue, as a murder mystery begins and the relationship between Eithne and Diana develops in unexpected directions.

Not-Safe.Space is a NSFW strip but more than half the pages are SFW so I've set those to *not* require a Patreon membership. Readers should be able to follow the story without seeing the NSFW pages. If I've done this right.

Transcript For Strip 1579

Panel 1
Hugo, Murphy, Shrack, Shransh and Prenk are seated at a table in what looks more like a ship's mess than an executive conference room.
Shlack: All right then, tabling for now the question of your point of origin ...
Shlack: Let's talk about what we have to offer one-another.
Hugo: I'm sure I could suggest some upgrades to your drive system, improvements to your gravity generators, and life-support systems generally.
Panel 2
Shlack, Murphy, Hugo.
Shlack: We can take a look at those soon, and see what you can recommend.
Murphy: What we'd like is a tow to some star system far from any settlement, but with raw materials … metals, water, the usual.
Murphy: Do you think you could do that?

Panel 3
Shlack, Murphy, Hugo.
Shlack: Possibly. But what we're really interested in is your star drive technology.
Hugo: You mean the one that has broken down, leaving us stranded in the void?
Shlack: If that's the one that got you here from wherever you're from, then yesss .
