To boldly go where no manic pixie dream girl has gone before.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Hugo and Murphy are relaxing in post-coitus on their bed.
Hugo: So. Theo's quite mad, unfortunately.
Murphy: Agreed. Which is why we need to fire up the Displacement Drive and get out of here.
Hugo: Not yet.
Panel 2
Murphy shifts to her side to face Hugo.
Murphy: Not yet?
Hugo: The Cush are our best means of finding Eithne.
Hugo: Otherwise we're looking for a needle in a truly gargantuan haystack.

Hugo: We're still well within Community space.
Hugo: We can tell Theo we want to work with him, and take this Icosaship on a course where we'll likely intercept Community ships and stations.
Panel 4
Murphy sits up in the bed, not exactly happy to be hearing this.
Murphy: You want us to help assimilate Gluteans?
Hugo: Only such few as are absolutely necessary.
Hugo: Unless you think they'll tell us where Eithne is being held if we just ask them nicely.
Panel 5
Murphy has stood up, and is re-projecting her holographic clothing. Hugo is sitting up in the bed.
Murphy: I … I'm not sure how this squares with our ethics, Hugo.
Murphy: Granted, the Community is predatory, but is every individual member at fault?
Hugo: I don't think that's a real concern here.
Panel 6
Murphy turns to face Hugo, who is now standing and projecting holo-clothing.
Murphy: What? How can you mean that?
Hugo: Because I have pierced the veil, revealing 'the man behind the curtain.'
Murphy: Veil? Curtain? What man?
Hugo: Let me explain …
