A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

She walks towards an inner door near her desk.
Caption: Not here. Here, you find someone who will pay you 'money' for your labor, or whatever else you might have to offer in trade.
Caption: Then you go find what you want and exchange this 'money' for it.

She enters the inner office where Juan Goméz is asleep in his chair. Diana is rolling her eyes.
Caption: And no, I've never given THAT in trade, even though I have offers.
Caption: Juan Goméz, my boss, propositioned me every four or five days.

Juan wakes up with a start as Diana speaks.
