Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Transcript For Strip 1746

Panel 1
Now it's Juan's turn to cross his arms. Ingvar sips his coffee.
Juan: I beg your pardon.
Ingvar: You did leave the company under a cloud. Something about betraying confidential information, as I recall.
Juan: A client had broken her contract by murdering another client. But I needed a confession.
Panel 2
Juan and Ingvar, eyeing each other warily. A bot rolls up with Juan's coffee and scones.
Ingvar: Right, so you used that refugee kid as bait to draw your target out.
Juan: And afterward I gave that refugee kid a job.
Ingvar: I'll bet you did. Does she have her own desk or does she work under yours?
Panel 3
Juan takes his coffee and scone from the bot's tray.
Juan: I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that.
Juan: What kind of assurance do you want?
Ingvar: A sealed bond will do. Ten Moebits.
Panel 4
Juan is munching on his scone.
Juan: I'll put up two. Payable only if you can prove I have revealed you as a source.
Ingvar: I could lose my job for this.
Juan: Or, I could get the information some other way and tell people it came from you.
Ingvar: Bastard.
