Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

Vanessa and Nicole rise from their seats. Seamus continues eating, pretending not to notice.
Vanessa: I need to go to the Ladie's Room.
Nicole: Me too.

Seamus continues eating.

The waiter is standing next to Seamus, proffering a menu.
Waiter: While your ladies are away talking about you, would you care to see a desert menu?
Seamus: Yes, thank you.

The ladies' room in the La Bocca restaurant. Vanessa and Nicole are at the mirror, primping.
Nicole: I was going to ask your impression of Seamus ...
Vanessa: Yes, little did you know he impressed me long ago.

Nicole looks at Vanessa with some trepidation.
Nicole: He impressed … did you two ever … do it?
Vanessa: Not that it's your business but, yes, we did.
Panel 7
Nicole looks disgusted. Vanessa decides to go for broke.
Nicole: Mother! Ewwww!
Vanessa: He wasn't the bloated giant 23 years ago that he is now.
Vanessa: Back then he was rather dashing, in an eccentric sort of way.

Vanessa smiles with satisfaction. Nicole looks like she just ate a bug.
Vanessa: In fact, his … rubinetto was quite impressive.
Nicole: Ow, gawd, I'm so sorry I asked.
