Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Diana is on foot again, her flyer case slung over her shoulder, as she walks through a concourse.
Caption: I already knew I wouldn't be admitted to speak with Fritch at his office.
Caption: I'd need to find him at some place more accessible, where his guard would be down.
Panel 2
Diana enters a shop with a sign reading 'The Funky Elephant' complete with a graphic of an anthropomorphic elephant smoking a hookah.
Caption: Fritch's credit records indicated he frequented a certain hookah den.
Caption: Cannabis seemed an odd vice for a security manager, but I've seen plenty of stranger things in the City.
Panel 3
Diana walks through the bar. Several patrons are seated around tables each featuring a large hookah with several smoking tubes attached.
Caption: Back on Zytemonde, the cannabis we had was only suitable for making hemp. No psychoactive effects.
Caption: We got high on illicit fermented grains and something we called 'tartar sauce.'
Panel 4
Medium close-up on Diana, eyes narrowed as she seeks her quarry.
Caption: Did I partake? You bet your ass I did. Zytemonde was fucking boring, at least until the last few weeks I was there.
Caption: I avoided the 'scene' here in the City mainly because I had so much work to do.
Caption: And now my work has brought me into it.
