Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)
Panel 1
Diana emerges from another hexigon formed on the face of a wall within a large but enclosed space. She lands on her right shoulder, painfully.
Caption: The gate was keyed to a quiet place several klicks away.
Caption: I just had to hope it wasn't a property protected by Smith & Holder.
Panel 2
Diana strides forward, lugging her flyer-case.
Caption: Unfortunately it was an enclosed space.
Caption: I couldn't just jump into my flyer and zoom away.
Caption: So I started walking, consoling myself with fantasies about slicing Kempadoo into a thousand pieces.
Panel 3
Now Diana is staggering along, dragging the satchel.
Caption: After walking several minutes I started feeling light-headed, dizzy.
Caption: I was going into shock. I needed to find a safe refuge, quickly.
Panel 4
Diana stumbles through an open door, off a short platform and into open air. We see other buildings, some traffic.
Caption: I don't remember how long I dragged-ass half-dazed through that building when suddenly I was in open air.
Diana: WHO THE FLAMING FUCK DESIGNS BUILDINGS LIKE THIS?
