A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Lorelei: The surrender needs to be on your terms, which are very public.
Diana: Public? Why?
Diana: I prefer remaining in the background.

Diana and Lorelei, Otto trails behind.
Lorelei: If S&H has become corrupted, one thing they'll hate more than anything is the light.
Lorelei: You're going to surrender in the brightest spotlight I can whip up for you.
Lorelei: I'm setting up an event with four very influential streamers.

The trio continues through a hallway.
Lorelei: I'll tell them your story, you can answer questions, and then we'll pop to the plaza in front of S&H headquarters where you present yourself for questioning.
Diana: You mean, pop using a Murphy displacer?
Lorelei: Yeah, sure, how else?

The trio pauses before another doorway.
Diana: All right. But when I go in, I want to bring back-up with me.
Lorelei: By all means, call in whoever you think can help you.
Lorelei: But they need to be ready in two hours.
