Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Still browsing in the shop. Wook is watching them like a hawk.
Diana: So, you were saying --?
Carmen: Well, Hayami did report directly to DeCosta on two occasions, but it was just to receive some instructions about the clients she would be serving.
Diana: That doesn't sound so galaxy-shattering.
Panel 2
Carmen and Diana.
Carmen: That's not what got me so excited.
Carmen: Both Gianturco and Smith & Holder have had some massive resignations up and down the line.
Carmen: This has all the hallmarks of a purge.
Diana: Of what by whom?
Panel 3
Carmen and Diana
Carmen: 'Of what,' I'm not quite clear on. It's all being kept fairly quiet.
Carmen: 'By whom' is quite clearly members present and past of RPLD.
Diana: But to what end?
Panel 4
Carmen and Diana:
Carmen: Well, I have no 'smoking gun' but given what RPLD is all about, my guess is they want to establish a democratic republic here.
Carmen: Something the two largest security companies in Bubbleopolis just might be able to accomplish.
Diana: Well, everyone needs a hobby, but that's just downright rude.
