Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Kickstarter Success! [ May 13, 2025 ]

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

All of this should show up in June.

Transcript For Strip 1968

Strip 236
Panel 1
Diana is again walking away from the illuminated area.
Caption: I sat for a while but quickly got bored and decided to go exploring again.
Caption: Of course I kept transmitting calls for help, but there was no signal.
Panel 2
Diana is again walking through pitch blackness, shouting into the void.
Caption: I walked a bit more boldly this time, deciding that I was already in the trap.
Caption: I tried shouting, hoping to hear an echo. But the place was quiet as death.
Panel 3
Looking from behind Diana, we see another illuminated space in the distance, but this one has a figure standing at the far edge of it.
Caption: I quickly spotted another light and made for it.
Caption: But as I got near, I could see that this time there was someone waiting for me.
Panel 4
Diana stops at the near edge of the circle, facing Marlon Trudeau. Marlon is tall and trim, with Romanesque features and flowing black hair, but somehow still manages to look a bit like a fool.
Marlon: Good afternoon, Diana Martelli.
Marlon: My name is Marlon Trudeau, and I'll be your interrogator today.
