Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Transcript For Strip 1971

Panel 1
Diana is hanging by her wrists.
Caption: 'Shortly' dragged on and on.
Caption: Without any external means of tracking the time, I relied on the clock in my cortical implant.
Caption: The implant that Monty had to practically beg me to have installed.
Caption: The implant that would now keep me from going insane.
Panel 2
Diana is still hanging from her wrists, but our viewpoint is now orbiting around her. In this panel we get a right-side view.
Caption: After an hour like this I started to really worry I'd been abandoned.
Caption: Those damn cuffs held me as solidly as if they were attached to a stone wall.
Caption: So I let loose my bladder. Because better 'crotch rot' than a UTI, right?
Caption: Although by this point I was wishing the creeps had removed my panties, too.
Panel 3
Diana still hanging from her wrists, rotated to rear view, and zoomed in a bit.
Caption: After three hours my hands were numb but my arms felt like they were on fire. I worried I would dislocate my shoulders.
Caption: After four hours I couldn't feel my arms at all.
Caption: I was glad, at least, that the gravity here only seemed to be about four mesecs. If this were Zytemonde with its 8.5-mesec gravity ...
Panel 4
We now see Diana from her left side, still hanging. Zoomed in a bit more so we only see her above her hips. She has a disgusted expression on her face.
Caption: After six hours my bowels were protesting. But then I drifted off to sleep.
Caption: I awoke another four hours later, and discovered that my bowels had relieved themselves of the pressure.
Caption: I decided that if I survived this ordeal then the next time someone asked me if I wanted to ̏hang out' with him I'd shove a pair of dirty panties in his face.
