Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Transcript For Strip 1972

Panel 1
Medium C/U of Diana, still hanging in place. ¾ view, above the abdomen. She is looking completely miserable, eyes half-closed, lips starting to crack.
Caption: Over the next several hours I drifted in and out of consciousness.
Caption: I was severely dehydrated, my arms felt like stone, and my crotch was full of shit.
Caption: So, I had plenty of time to think about my life and how I ended up like this.

Panel 2
Same shot, now Diana's eyes are closed.
Caption: I was getting a creeping idea that somehow I deserved all this.
Caption: The way I teased and belittled Juan, who turned out to be a better man than I'd thought.
Caption: The way I harassed Areum while pushing Wook away – just because of how they look.
Caption: The ease with which I killed a dozen people today.
Caption: The delight I took in cutting off Kempadoo's hands.
Caption: Was I really a bad person after all?

Panel 3
A portal has opened in the background behind Diana. Through it steps Otto Sullivan. Diana is vaguely aware of his presence.
Caption: Finally, sometime during Hour 40:
Otto: Just a … wait! SHE'S HERE! SHE'S HERE!
Otto: Bring a stretcher and a medic. She looks like she's ...

Panel 4
Otto is looking in the direction of Diana's ass. Diana is blushing and looking away.
Otto: EWW!!
Otto: Better bring a wash rag and a bucket, too.
