Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Blurred images fading into a black void: Alyss, 'Nurse Ilenil,' Dong Gyeon-Hoon, all looking at her with worried expressions.
Caption: After that I can only remember a few fragments of getting released, quick-washed, and transported in a medicama.
Panel 2
Cut to: Diana's POV from her recovery bed. Past her blanket-covered feet she can see Alyss in one corner and Otto in the next. Otto is asleep but Alyss notices her.
Caption: Eventually the dark clouds parted and ...
Alyss: Querida. You're back with us at last?
Panel 3
Switch view to show Diana in her recovery bed. She has a few wires and tubes attached to gadgets on a shelf above and behind her head. Alyss has moved to stand beside her.
Diana: It appears that way, unless the after-life is just a copy of life or something.
Alyss: We were pleased to find that you suffered no brain damage.
Alyss: But we can always double-check.
Panel 4
Widen view a bit to show Otto now standing next to Alyss, rubbing some sleep out of his eye.
Diana: Maybe you should. I'm seeing a cherub standing next to you.
Alyss: Oh yeah. Your number-one stalker. Can't get rid of him.
Otto: You … ah, clean up very nicely, Diana.
