Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Transcript For Strip 1987

Panel 1
Cut to: the arbitration hearing. A panel of three judges: Arb Andrews, Arb Sandini, and Arb Feingold, sit behind a heavy table. Everyone else up front, divided into a left and right section.
Caption: The Wheels of Justice grind quickly in the City. Five days later we made our case before the arbiters. Don't make the mistake of calling them 'judges,' though. They get testy.
Arb Sandini: … therefore we find DeCastries is indebted to Juan Gómez for the full cost of his rehabilitation, plus 2,000 Moebits.
Panel 2
At the left-side litigants table, DeCastries confers with his own attorney, Ricardo Miller, who just looks tired.
DeCastries: Dammit, Miller, they're killing us here.
Miller: Hey it's not my fault that Sullivan kid was able to testify he witnessed Martelli getting taken, and heard someone mention 'Château Périlleux.'
DeCastries: No, but what is your fault is ...
Panel 3
Cut to the other table, where Montoya is looking at a pop-up holoscreen, while Diana is eavesdropping with a satisfied grin.

DeCastries (OP): … you didn't stop that little bitch from digging up all that financial dirt linking me to both Gianturco Garantia and RPLD, plus the materiel we'd laid in for when … our guests could arrive.
Miller: She used all publicly-available data sources. I couldn't stop her. Her skill at spotting patterns and connections is incredible.
Panel 4
Back to DeCastries and Miller. Miller looks even more tired.
DeCastries: Not all of those sources were public.
Miller: You mean the Metaxas kid's raiding the Smith & Holder servers?
Miller: I really didn't expect he would confess to that action, so they could submit the evidence.
Miller: I how do I deal with someone with a conscience?
