Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Transcript For Strip 1988

Panel 1
Diana, Alyss, Sergio and Montoya are walking out of the hearing room. (Well, Montoya is floating on his conveyance alongside the other two.)
Diana: So for all my injuries, I'm netting out 2500 moebits?
Montoya: Only because you agreed to cover Alyss' debts related to her assault on the DeCastries building.
Montoya: And, I don't expect them to appeal the ruling.
Panel 2
Closer 4-shot on Diana, Alyss, Sergio, and Montoya. Alyss is looking thoughtful.
Diana: Why not?
Montoya: The bad publicity from this case will pretty well ruin DeCastries here. I expect him and his associates will pull up stakes and find a friendlier location to start over.
Panel 3
Cut scene: Diana is sitting in a tall chair, under a microphone before her. The walls are covered with echo-deadening material.
Diana: And, well … he was right. DeCastries, Belbenoit, and their whole crew left the city for parts unknown.
Diana: I never did find out what happened to that Trudeau character. I hope he rots.
Bok (electronic, OP): OK, I think we can end on that note.
Panel 4
Swing around so we see Diana in rear ¾ and we can see Bolivar 'Bok' Clark through a transparency.
Diana: Yeah, Bok, that's good. My voice is feeling a bit strained now.
Bok: Yvonne's makes a turmeric-chocolate milk-shake that tastes great and will fix you right up. I'm buying, let's go.
