Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Transcript For Strip 1997

Panel 1
Again Bok narrates from a cameo. Now William I. Montoya, the Víbora-Humana ('human viper') we've met already
Bok: Advogado for Roaz and company was William I. Montoya, who had once worked for Smith & Holder, but departed that company along with half of its employees, very recently.
Montoya: The assault on De Castries' building was a drastic measure undertaken to save a life imperiled, and possibly thousands more lives in the near future.
Panel 2
Two-shot of Diana and Alyss. Diana is looks stressed by her memories, as Alyss lays a reassuring hand on her friend's arm.
Montoya (OP): The record is clear, that young Diana Martelli was kidnapped from a shopping mall owned by de Castries, where she was lured by an employee of Gianturco Guarantia.
Montoya: And she was taken by members of the Républicans Pour La Démocracie to a dark cell where she was tortured and then left hanging by her wrists without food or water for more than two days.
Panel 3
Now we see de Castries and his crew behind Montoya. De Castries shouts angrily.
Montoya: But more to the point, de Castries was working together with RPLD on a plot to circumvent the Oresme shield and allow a hostile military force to enter and capture the city for the Intergalactic Hegemon.
De Castries: That's a lie! You have no evidence for that!
Panel 4
The Arbiters at their bench. Andrews smiles indulgently, Santini looks gruff, Reinhold looks mildly annoyed.
Andrews: Senhor de Castries, I'm afraid we have to insist on an orderly proceeding.
Andrews: So, any further outbursts like that will result in a fine of 1 moebit payable to the bench.
Santini: Or keep going. I'd like to buy a new anysuit.
Reinhold: Yeah, it's been years since I've had a real vacation.
