Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Otto is testifying, behind him Diana and Alyss are watching him intently.
Arb Sandini: (OP) And then you followed them into the Boutique Alsace. What happened there?
Otto: They were talking, and suddenly some guys grabbed Raynal and dragged her through a back door.
Otto: Wook tried to stop her, but Diana followed them into the back ...
Panel 2
Flashback scene, Otto wandering through the dark corridors.
Caption (Otto): 'I tried to follow them, but it was a maze of stock-rooms and passageways!
Otto: 'I didn't know which way they went, so I wandered around, hoping I'd see or hear something of them.'
Panel 3
Otto pauses at an intersection as Wook barrels past.
Otto: 'Then I saw Wook zoom past at a dead run, and figured she must've known where to go.
Otto: 'So I tried to follow her, too, but man, she was incredibly swift on her feet.
Otto: 'A few minutes later I heard zinger fire, and feared the worst.'
Panel 4
Otto claps his hands to his ears as a sonic blast shakes the walls. Sandini and Otto speak from a opposing cameos.
Otto: Then I heard the sonic grenade go off. I figured it was the one Diana told me she had with her.
Sandini: How did you know it was a sonic grenade?
Otto: I've heard one before, sir. It's a sound you don't ever forget.
