Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]
Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).
The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Panel 1
Now, Alyss stands before the Arbs. Bok narrates from a cameo.
Bok: Complainants and defendants can decline to testify personally, but when Alyss Roaz was called, she stepped right up.
Alyss: I am Alyss Roaz, a.k.a. Nicole Oresme, inventor of the Murphy Displacer Engine, the Oresme Shield, and co-founder of this city. I wear this artificial body after my original was destroyed on the moon called Zytemonde.
Arb Andrews: Yes, Senhora Roaz, we know all that.
Panel 2
Looking past Alyss at the Arbs.
Arb Sandini: The written and oral testimony explains how you connected the name 'Château Périllieu' to the deCastries building, and how you reasoned that Senhora Martelli was being held there.
Arb Sandini: But why the armed assault? We have procedures for dealing with situations like this peacefully – procedures which you, yourself have advocated.
Alyss: The assault was extraordinary, but this was an extraordinary situation.
Panel 3
Alyss in the foreground, we can see Miller and de Castries seated behind her.
Alyss: At that time we were no longer contracted with Smith & Holder Assurance, as one of their agents had assaulted Senhora Martelli, a researcher I'd hired to investigate Hayami Leigh's murder. I regarded her safety as my own responsibility.
Alyss: Considering that Martelli's partner had been kidnapped and beaten almost to death, and a previous investigator of Hayami's murder had been driven into hiding ...
Panel 4
Similar shot, now Miller is leaping to his feet and de Castries is red-faced.
Alyss: … I reasoned that Diana was in immediate peril. And when I confronted de Castries, he refused to even acknowledge holding her.
Miller: That's a LIE! My client will not tolerate this calumny!
Alyss: If your client had been more honest, I would not have had to blast holes in his building.
