Dark plans fall like thunderbolts.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Bok, Zander, Otto
Bok: Otto, my boy, trust me. This way lies madness.
Zander: You gotta put Diana behind you. Go out and find someone else.
Otto: You don't think I've tried?
Panel 2
Otto raises his eyes as we waxes semi-poetic. His friends regard him sadly.
Otto: She's just too … incomparable. It's like loving the stars themselves.
Otto: But … how can I expect the sunset to admire me back?
Bok: You've lived in this city all your life. Have you ever seen a sunset?
Zander: I'm afraid the lad's doomed.
Panel 3
Truck back from Bok, Zander and Otto's table, to show another table, where two other friends, Shotah Rozen and Alec Stern, are seated
Alec: I tell you, Shotah, I'm doomed.
Shotah: Wait … is this about Zondra? I thought you and her were finished.
Panel 4
Shotah and Alec
Alec: I thought we were. Good riddance and all that. The woman is a fucking animal.
Alec: I mean, she was kind of fun at first, but man, that woman has an evil soul.
Shotah: An evil soul should usually be a deal-breaker, sure.
