Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)
Panel 1
Still in Mr. Kolk's office, looking past Graves towards Mr. Kolk. There is a holoscreen more or less between them, on which we see the images of Nicole and Seamus.
Kolk: We have word that Dr. Seamus O Murchadha will be visiting Luna – and this very city – arriving in just under three weeks' time.
Graves: Looks like O Murchadha is a big man in science . Heh-heh.
Panel 2
Exterior view of the tower containing the office we've been in, with it's large hemispherical window. We see the city skyline behind it, and beyond that. The a crater rim and a bit of exposed Lunar surface. Unlike in Tycho City, it's daytime here.
Kolk: He's over 350 and our intel has it that his last rejuv went awry.
Kolk: He may be visiting a specialist here in Aldrinopolis to deal with that.
Panel 3
Looking across the desk towards Graves – we still see the holoscreen with Seamus and Nicole's faces on them, only reversed.
Graves: Who's the chickie with him?
Kolk: His assistant. Apparently she also became a minor celebrity when she flew a HelioFlyer under the Sun's corona, to carry out O Murchadha's project.
Panel 4
Medium close-up of Graves, looking up at Kolk (OP).
Graves: What's the project about?
Kolku: That's what we want you to find out, Mr. Graves.
