Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 2101

Panel 1
In one of Causa Sui's labs, a large chunk or iron is suspended in an energy field and Hugo is studying a 3D monitor as Murphy looks on
Caption: Shortly afterward:
Murphy: So is there a payoff here or is metallurgy your new hobby?
Hugo: Large iron asteroids this pure are fairly rare.

Panel 2
Murphy and Hugo
Hugo: They are formed from hypernova explosions and captured by nearby Population I stars.
Hugo: So far only 218 systems have been cataloged as having them and they each have distinctive amounts of trace elements.
Panel 3
Hugo stands and begins walking away from his monitor.
Murphy: Which means, you can trace this rock back to its system of origin?
Hugo: I can. It's a close-orbit binary system in Galaxy SP0000001
Murphy: Zero-zero-one … the one we used to call Andromeda?

Panel 4
Hugo and Murphy striding briskly through a corridor.
Hugo: The same. And you know what that means.
Murphy: Andromeda has been held by Shenhua Itochu since the Third Galactic War.
Hugo: They are not going to like us poking around in their domain.
