Dark plans fall like thunderbolts.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Montoya is seated at the bar as the bartender brings his drink.
Bartender: Here ya go. That'll be five milis.
Montoya: Thanks. What's your name?
Bartender: I'm Barney.
Caption: The government on Wheeler uses a crypto-currency – 'Neucoins' -- something like Moebits but with one important difference.
Panel 2
Montoya places a token on the bar, which Barney notes with some surprise.
Montoya: I'm Albert. Pleased to meet you.
Caption: Neucoins, are trace-able. This way their government can keep track of all currency transactions in their system. Well, almost all.
Caption: But a lot of people desired the privacy offered by the Moebit system, and so a need was provided by the market, carried via smart-tokens.
Panel 3
Barney is holding the coin low in his hand while Montoya speaks to h im.
Caption: Naturally these 'Meucoins' spread rapidly through clandestine networks and became highly valued by anyone with secrets to keep.
Montoya: So tell me, Barney, do you hear much about some outfit calling itself Society for Justice? I have an important message for them.
Panel 4
Barney pockets the coin and then walks away from Montoya, who looks very annoyed.
Barney: Sorry, nefer heard of 'em. Excuse me, I got work to do.
Montoya (thought): Filho da puta.
Montoya: That was my last meucoin.
