Dark plans fall like thunderbolts.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Diana is on her feet, nudging Sergio back with her finger jabbing at his chest.
Diana: Don't think you can pull your Jedi mind-tricks on me, buster!
Diana: I'm telling the truth and you know it!
Panel 2
Diana strides past Sergio towards the exit.
Diana: You don't want to work with me, fine!
Diana: I've made my own way before, I can do it again.
Sergio: Diana … Senhora Martelli, wait.
Panel 3
Diana pauses with a cocked eyebrow as Sergio strikes a conciliatory tone.
Sergio: I do know you're being honest, and can keep secrets.
Sergio: That's why I want you to go under cover, after a fashion.
Diana: 'Under Cover'? And just what does that mean?
Panel 4
Two-shot of Diana and Sergio.
Sergio: I want to put you in our Loss reporting section. Logging reports of stolen vehicles, machinery, treasures, and so forth, for insurance claims or recovery.
Sergio: What did you think I meant?
