A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Ka: So, what is it you would like to see here? Our beaches are renowned throughout the universe.
Albert: 'Throughout the universe.' What a quaint expression.
Ka: Excuse me --?

The continue strolling
Albert: Humans haven't even explored ten percent of the universe.
Albert: Maybe colonized a hundredth of a percent. There's just so much of it.
Ka: So much of what?

The pause near a portico to a closed shop. Albert has spread his arms wide.
Albert: So much universe. It's big. Really, really, really big. You might think it's a long way down the street to the chemist's, but ...
Ka: Okay, I get it. So what do you want to see here on Nuveau Mo'orea?
