Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
The meeting continues:
Kāng: So if if these defenders of yours aren't regimented as a military, how are they to be organized?
Acharya: By function, and according to depth of involvement.
Panel 2
Acharya elaborates
Acharya: The department involving combat operations is what we need to coordinate with your own agency.
Acharya: We will recruit fighters, field support crews, and infrastructure monitors.
Acharya: We will also have levels of commitment ranging from all-out 'gung-ho' to 'Let me circle back to that.'
Panel 3
Kāng is giving Acharya the side-eye
Kāng: This sounds like as much of a hinderance as a help.
Stauder: We can deal with the … well, I'd call it 'street-level' chaos.
Stauder: Most of the time, we'll be a noise filter as well as a conduit for intel.
Panel 4
Now Kāng is giving Stauder the side-eye. Stauder just grins back at him.
Kāng: A conduit can transmit intel in either direction.
Kāng: It can also transmit disinfo.
Stauder: As well as hot air but we'll keep the advertising to a minimum.
