Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Pull back to medium shot of Alyss, now sitting down again. To the left, Michael has telescoped his head up to be almost level with hers. She is looking pained.
Michael: Sorry to interrupt, but you may both want to see the latest vidpost from Noticías Inacreditável
Alyss: Oh gourd, Jerome Falstaff again?
Panel 2
Alyss is looking up at another monitor higher on her wall showing Jerime Falstaff journalisming. We can still see Sheldon on the lower monitor.
Falstaff: … as each wave of business closures triggers another, in a cascade effect.
Falstaff: Just hours ago we managed to speak briefly with Francisco Da Costa, one of Bubbleopolis' leading financiers, about business confidence.
Panel 3
Alyss' monitor almost fills the screen but we can see a bit of border. On the monitor, Falstaff and Da Costa are walking through an arboretum.
Caption on Screen: Arboreto Lepas, 18.9.1076
Da Costa: Well of course random mass destruction is going to harm business confidence, as long as it lasts, but longer term ...
Panel 4
Now the panel is the monitor, and we are closer-in on Falstaff and Da Costa. Da Costa is giving Faltaff the side-eye.
Falstaff: So the Pillars' inability to put an end to this siege – unable to even identify the enemy after two cycles! -- is killing livelihoods as well as people?
Da Costa: I do hope if you have any leads you will let the security agencies know...
… as I have.
