Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Diana is standing next to Lester's workstation, handing him a mug of a cold beverage. She holds its twin.
Diana: Happy Afternoon-Stretch, Lester. Care for a Bobebida?
Lester: Uh, sure, thanks.
Lester: Having trouble with a trace?
Panel 2
Diana leans against Lester's station in a pose that puts her on display for him. She has his attention.
Diana: It's Kornbluth's stolen werpolitzi. I've only been about to trace about a fifth of the shipment.
Diana: It's like the rest just scattered to the four winds … and most of them blow out of our 'Kim-Favreau' range.
Panel 3
Lester tries to make conversation.
Lester: Yeah, it's a challenge but, well, that means you need to develop relationships with some of the key grey-market operators.
Lester: It takes some time but I'm happy to, ah, show you the ropes.
Panel 4
Diana places a hand affectionately on Lester's shoulder. Not coming on too strong but definitedly making contact.
Diana: That will be great but time is something I really don't have with this case.
Diana: And you know, I'd really like to keep this job, considering how the economy's doing now.
Lester: Keep … this … huh?
