Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Nicole and Seamus, with their luggage, walk toward a wide doorway under a sign marked, 'To Lunar Gates'.
Nicole: So, you think 2000 miltons is what I'll need to spend here? Seems like a lot for just one week.
Seamus: It would be more, except I have already paid for your hotel room.
Panel 2
Nicole and Seamus stand in a large elevator, along with a few other bored-looking travelers.
Nicole: When I consider that these cost me just four augrams it doesn't seem so outrageous.
Seamus: When I visited here a year ago, 2000 miltons cost five augrams.
Panel 3
Closer two-shot on Nicole and Seamus. Nicole looks surprised.
Nicole: What! That's a devaluation of 20 percent in one year!
Seamus: When the milton was first introduced, about a century ago, one milton equaled one augram. Now, the ratio is 500:1
Panel 4
Pull back a bit to show a few of the other elevator passengers, all of them looking at Seamus. Nicole doesn't notice them, looks disgusted. Seamus rolls his eyes.
Nicole: And there hasn't been a revolution here for what reason?
Seamus: Most loonans are terrible at math.
