Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Seamus and Nicole are walking again, their luggage following, towards another gateway marked, 'Port of Entry.' There is a queue of about a dozen people visible through the gateway.
Nicole: Okay, now what's this?
Seamus: In the vernacular, it's called, 'customs.' I think of it as 'formal frisking.'
Panel 2
Seamus and Nicole join the queue, their luggage gathers around their feet.
Seamus: The Lunar government wants to know all about everyone who comes to Luna, and what they're bringing with them.
Nicole: Such paranoia. Or is this some kind of game?
Panel 3
Closer two-shot of Seamus and Nicole, waiting in the queue. Nicole is looking annoyed.
Seamus: I suppose it is a game, one with serious consequences if you mess it up.
Seamus: My advice to the novice is, play it safe.
Panel 4
The queue has moved up to the first customs official, a charmless but not threatening fellow who is going through a formality. Nicole, who is standing between the c.o. and Seamus, is smiling at him and giving him the Vulcan Salute.
Customs official: Names and documents, please.
Nicole: We come in peace. Take us to your larder.
