Dark plans fall like thunderbolts.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Kāng and Horton fast-march up the corridor, Kāng has his electro-blades at the ready. They glow and crackle and throw off sparks.
Horton (thought): I’ve seen him practice with those electro-blades.
Horton: What he does with them seems, well, impossible.
Panel 2
Suddenly Kāng and Horton come upon another squad of Libérateurs.
(Large text appearing at the top of panel indicating everyone reacting at once):
THERE THEY ARE!
Panel 3
The Libérateurs open fire
SFX: Multiple ZANGs
Panel 4
Reverse view to show Kāng whirling his blades in front of himself and Horton, forming an electric shield which deflects the fire.
SFX: HHMMMMMMMM
SFX: Multiple SPAKs
Panel 5
Side-view, Kāng points both blades forward in a combination SEIGAN NO KAME and KO GASUMI pose. Massive lightning erupts from the blades towards the oncoming Libérateurs, electrocuting them.
SFX: (small) KRACK! (gigantic) BOOM
Panel 6
Kāng and Horton carefully step past the fallen (and badly scorched) Libérateurs. The walls nearby are likewise damaged.
Horton: What’s it like to be a god of thunder?
Kāng: After the first thirty-seven times I did this it got to be old-hat.
