Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

The Not-Safe-Space 2 Kickstarter Campaign has ended successfully. Thanks to all who pledged!
Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.
All of this should show up in June.
Transcript For Strip 2358
Panel 1Kāng is whirls up his electro-shield again, as Horton peeks around the edge and returns fire.
Kāng: They keep coming as fast as we can drop them.
Horton: Faster, at this rate. And there are other portals in the building.
SFX: Multiple ZANGs
Panel 2
Kāng strikes the SEIGAN NO KAME / KO GASUMI pose again, sending a lightning bolt at the portals.
Kāng: I didn’t want to do this, but there’s no better choice.
SFX: (small) KRACK! (gigantic) BOOM
Panel 3
The double-portal is a smoking ruin, with smoking bodies piled before it. Kāng and Horton bracket the panel, looking at the destruction.
Kāng: Destroying assets is such a terrible waste.
Horton: I’m getting reports from the other teams ...
Panel 4
Kāng and Horton are now moving back up the corridor at a trot. Horton has a hand to his ear.
Horton: Azar, Boaz and Delaney all reporting increasing numbers of hostiles.
Horton: Ping reports he and Gupta and Bridwell are holding their own.
Panel 5
Kāng and Horton run back to Ping and co, who are now crouching on the other side of a bit larger pile of dead invaders, shooting the last of a new group that had just approached them.
SFX: 3 ZANGs
Kelso: Sir? We heard two thunderbolts.
Kāng: We had to destroy the main portals.
Panel 6
Kāng, Kelso, Ping, Horton
Kāng: And it looks like we’ll have to destroy the others as well.
Kāng (thought): That is, if we can get to them before we’re overwhelmed.
