Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Exterior view: The shuttle looks like someone ripped the wings and stabilizer off a jet airliner and added six hinged rockets fore, aft and center, and one larger rocket on the stern of the fuselage. It is departing from Circumlunar 2, headed Luna-ward.
Nicole: Hey, I just realized – where's our luggage?
Seamus: I took your bag along with mine and checked it through while you were being, er, randomly screened.
Panel 2
Inside the shuttle, Seamus and Nicole, with some other passengers visible in their seats.
Nicole: Will they be safe?
Seamus: Um, define 'safe.'
Panel 3
Closer 2-shot of Seamus and Nicole.
Seamus: Oh, customs agents will paw through our belongings, though it's unlikely they'll steal anything.
Seamus: But we should do a quick inventory at landing just to make certain.
Panel 4
Seamus and Nicole: Nicole is smoldering again.
Nicole: Remind me never to visit this place again.
Seamus: I doubt that I will need to.
