Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Panel 1Alyss and Michael on the bridge. Angle so we’re looking past them at an image of Gigantor2 on a large viewscreen.
Michael: We can’t hope to beat another one of those right now, we must retreat!
Alyss: No! We can’t leave the Schildhaus undefended!.
Panel 2
Exterior view, the warship ‘Qiong Qi’ pops into the field. In an inset we see Boudica Chen’s grinning face. The Qiong Qi looks something like a winged tiger, legs extended as if in mid-spring.
Boudica: Okay, I’m here! Time to start the party!

Gigantor two firest at EJ, but EJ manages to foomp away

A massive bolt erupts from the ‘head’ of Qiong Qi and blasts the head of Gigantor 2. Its body is electrified

Gigantor’s ‘head’ is a smoking stub. The arms and legs are scorched and apparently inert.
Michael (from EJ): Second Guerrero gigante is … inert, electrocuted.
Boudica (from Qiong Qi): You need to know where to hit them.

Split panel, Boudica and Alyss
Boudica: This is getting completely out of hand. We need to cut off the source of these invaders, now.
Alyss: Agreed. Can you stand guard here? I need a quick re-charge and then I’ll go evict that IGC Legation.
