Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Mordy (from inside building): Looks like you’re all set to go to lead the final wave.
Panel 2
Inside Mordy’s office. Greta Heidelberg is in battle gear, standing before Mordy’s desk.
Greta: That wave is due to arrive in moments.
Greta: Even though your troops have lost control of the portal network, and have not yet taken the shield generators.
Panel 3
Focus on Morty in his chair. We can see some blue sky and other buildings through the window behind him.
Mordy: My troops? I thought those were Marlon’s troops.
Mordy: His leadership skills are, shall I say, rather mediocre, don’t you think?

Switch angle looking past Mordy’s chair to Greta, who is now looking very alarmed.
Mordy: Eh? What’s the matter?

Now looking past Greta at Morty who has swiveled his chair around to look out his window, which is now filled with a star field. Greta is panicking.
Greta: Shut down the bridge!
Mordy: What in the ‘Verse --?
Greta: We’ll start to drift! Shut it down! Shut it down! Shut ...
