Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Panel 1Continuing scene: Alain, Amelia and Marlon.
Amelia: You want us to surrender?
Marlon: With conditions, of course, but the Novo Paoloans seem ...
Panel 2
Suddenly Amelia whips out a Zinger and shoots Marlon in the head.
Amelia: That’s what I thought ...
FX: ZING!!
Amelia: … traitor.
Panel 3
Alain is looking surprised at Amelia, who now has her Zinger aimed at his belly.
Amelia: What about you, Alain?
Amelia: Do you want to be a traitor, too?
Panel 4
Alain finds discretion the better part of valour.
Alain: What? Oh heck, no, Amelia!
Alain: Like you said, we keep fighting until we win.

Amelia puts her weapon away.
Amelia: Good. Our story is that a Cappy terrorist was able to penetrate our shields and pop in here. Trudeau died defending me, but the Cappy was able to escape via his Displacer.
Alain: We can somehow tie this assassination to the Novo Paoloan Pillars.
Panel 6
Amelia smiles at Alain.
Amelia: I like the way you think Alain. Now call in someone to take care of this body, and then call in the other officers to plan our strategy going forward.
Alain: You’re the boss.
