Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Falstaff: … three dramatic turns of events in just one day.
Falstaff: First a failed assault on the IGC Legation, where the Pillars believed was the entry point for the so-called Libérateurs.
Panel 2
Over Falstaff’s shoulder a replay of Alyss’ ship Eva Jeanne getting destroyed.
Falstaff: Which resulted in the destruction of Alyss Roaz’ private battleship, as she led the assault.
Falstaff: Roaz has not been seen or heard from since the battle and she is presumed dead.

Falstaff
Falstaff: The other Pillars are tight-lipped about this shocking loss to the city’s leadership.
Falstaff: The Legation, in the meantime, has relocated to an undisclosed location, presumably to avoid future assaults.
Panel 4
Over Flagstaff’s shoulder, a shot looking outward from one of the outer spheres … the sky is reddish and a pair blurry, organge stars can be seen.
Falstaff: The next surprise was a blackout followed by … a change in the sky.
Falstaff: Scientists are theorizing that the city has been enveloped in a thick cloud of charged plasma, possibly to thwart the Libérateaurs.

Falstaff: Moments later, a new, powerful battleship has appeared, defending the Schildhaus ...
Falstaff: … the no-longer secret location of the city’s Oresme and Miyagi shield generators.

Now just Falstaff
Falstaff: But despite these surprises, the Libérateurs continue making advances through the city’s spheres.
Falstaff: Eventually, even the SchildHaus will fall.
Falstaff: Will the Pillars finally negotiate an end to the fighting, or will new leaders emerge to solve this crisis?
