Dark plans fall like thunderbolts.
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Several other Quantum Vibe goodies are available for contributing to our campaign. More will be added during the campaign as it grows. So you'll want to stay tuned. The best-laid plans of mice and cartoonists gang oft awry. (Or something like that)
Last week my friend and house-mate of five years informed me that she is moving out at the end of July, going to Ohio to live with her daughter and grandchildren.
We had been talking previously about parting company, but I was thinking this would be happening later this fall, probably October or November.
We're still friends but this is massively inconvenient for me, as I can't afford to stay in this house without her help with the rent.
Fortunately, I've found a place to land, back in Galveston. Unfortunately, I need to pack up my home and studio and move in four weeks rather than four months. In the middle of the hot-hot southeast Texas summer.
So, the Kickstarter launch for Quantum Vibe: The Murphy Drive is being postponed until early September.
Also, my update schedule for both Quantum Vibe and Not-Safe.Space is going to be well, pretty bumpy. For example, the usual Monday installment is getting postponed until Tuesday. I'm planning to have some guest strips from long-time QV supporter, Simone Spinozza, in late July and early August to keep things interesting. Not-Safe.Space just completed a chapter and is going to have some filler art for the next few weeks.
To those who support my work on Patreon and Subscribe-Star, my sincere apologies for these unavoidable interruptions. For the rest of you, be assured that the Quantum Vibe saga will continue well into 2024 at least, and thanks to everyone in advance for your patience.
