Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Seconds later, a squad of Libérateurs in full kit charge into the control room.
Caption: Seconds later:
Libérateurs (variously shouting): FREEZE! DROP YOUR WEAPONS! PUT YOUR HANDS UP! GET ON THE GROUND!
Panel 2
The squad looks around at the room. Their downed comrades are there, but the insurgents are gone
Libérateur 1: What … the monitors showed a whole damn squad of insurgents in here!
Libérateur 2: They have personal displacers. Watch your six!
Panel 3
Focus on the first two Libérateurs. As they speak, an electro-grenade pops into the space behind them.
Libérateur 1: This place is supposed to be shielded.
Libérateur 2: The enemy must have better …

The grenade detonates, zapping the Libérateur squad

The room is quiet. The bodies of the Libérateurs fill the floor space.
