Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Hugo: You’ll never get a better chance.
Murphy: Now is the time for the time for the Free Cosmos Project to act!

William, Li, Fred, Ricky, Lucy
Li: Are we ready?
Fred: We’ve operated from the shadows for so long.
Ricky: It’s a huge risk, coming into the open.
Lucy: We won’t have another opportunity like this.

Looking past Lucy and William at the vanishing hopper.
Lucy: What do you … huh?
William: How do they do that effect?
SFX: Whe-eeze rump! Whe-eeze rump! Whe-eeze rump!

Murphy and Hugo emerge from the hopper, now aboard the Polyphemus
Murphy: Do you think they’ll do the right thing?
Hugo: I know Lucy – once she decides to do something, she does it splendidly.

Murphy and Hugo enter the control deck
Murphy: And the others?
Hugo: They’ll follow her lead.
Hugo: But now we have another job to do.

Exterior view, the Polyphemus flies through space.
Hugo (from Polyphemus): We can’t leave Bubbleopolis where it is for long.
Hugo: Its current location is gravitationally unstable.
Hubo: Before we return it to the 5-star system we have to clear a space for it.
