Dark plans fall like thunderbolts.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]
Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).
The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Panel 1A
Alyss walks along a corridor.
Caption: About an hour later:
Panel 1B
She rounds a corner and finds Li-Liang waiting for her.
Li: You’re taller than I remember.
Li: Got a minute?
Panel 2
Alyss regards Li coolly.
Alyss: Perhaps I didn’t make myself clear earlier.
Li: Just one minute. Please.
Panel 3
Alyss and Li
Alyss: Okay, but take off those ridiculous goggles. I want to look you in the eyes.
Li: Huh? Ah, well, if you insist.
Panel 4
Li removes his goggles. In place of his eyes he has elaborate cameras.
Li: About a hundred years ago I was blinded in … an assault.
Li: Albert Montoya helped me, set me up with these.
Li: In my line of work, they are very practical. Broad-spectrum, sensitive to x-rays, or radio waves.
Panel 5
Alyss’ stone face softens as she reacts.
Li: Alyss, 250 years ago I had a terrible lapse of judgment, and paid a terrible price.
Li: Tyranny must always be opposed, compromise leads to slavery.
Li: I know you hate me now, but I hope I can somehow, someday, redeem myself in … your eyes.
Panel 6
Li puts his goggles back on. Alyss looks away.
Li: You don’t have to answer now. Just watch me work, and decide for yourself.
