Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Alyss narrates:’I swallowed my pride and called Li.’
Li (electronic): What! Are you ok?
Panel 2
Nicole inside the cruiser compartment.
Nicole: I’m fine, but I don’t think this boat will fly again.
Li (electronic): I can come and get you in the cruiser.
Panel 3
Cut to Li, looking distraught.
Nicole (electronic): No, I don’t want you to leave the kids alone at night.
Nicole: I’m dry, and safe here. Come get me in the morning.
Panel 4
Back to Nicole
Li (electronic): Okay, the homing beacon on the flyer is active, so I can find you.
Nicole: I’ll just take a little nap here -- I’ll be fine.
Panel 5
Nicole is startled to see Li’s face looming through the windscreen.
Alyss narrates: ‘I had just drifted off to sleep when I was startled awake by Li’s arrival.’
Panel 6
Aboard the cruiser, Nicole, Li, and both kids, all wearing rain gear. Brielle hugging Nicole tightly.
Nicole: I told you to wait until morning.
Li: I’m not great at following orders.
