Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Now we get to wait 2 weeks while Kickstarter transmits the funds, and Scott can order the books, and send surveys to backers to get current e-mail addresses for the .PDF versions and mailing addresses for the physical books.

Nicole is in the flyer, soaring through a night sky.
Alyss narrates: ‘As I flew homeward that night, I kept wondering whether Li’s negotiating skills could cash the checks my mouth had written.’
Panel 2
Lightning flashes in the distance.
Alyss narrates:’I also wondered whether I should have checked on the weather forecast before venturing out.’
Alyss narrates: ‘I’d never had to worry about such things as ‘weather’ in the artificial environments I’d lived in up until then.’

Now the flyer is getting pounded by rain.
Alyss narrates:’Fortunately the flyer had navigation gear to keep me from getting lost.’
Panel 4
Lightning strikes the flyer
Alyss narrates: ‘However, that flyer was not as sturdy as our cruiser.’
Panel 5
The flyer tumbles out of control.
Alyss narrates: ‘Penelope had offered to let us all stay overnight, and I regretted not accepting that offer.’
Panel 6
The flyer crashes into a field.
Alyss narrates: ‘Okay, obviously I survived the crash landing, otherwise I would not be here to tell this story.’
Alyss narrates: ‘But the fun was not over.’
