Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Panel 1Enter Adelaide, followed by her daughter Camille, who is carrying a tray of drinks.
Adelaide: You’re making this sound like it’s all my fault.
Panelope: Not at all, Adelaide.
Panel 2
The women gather around a table where Camille has set the tray.
Nicole: You obviously didn’t get my warning in time, like the rest here did.
Nicole: We’re not blaming you, and we are going to get you and Penelope every gram you’re owed.
Adelaide: Thank you, Camille.
Panel 3
The women settle in as Camille exits.
Adelaide: Thank you, Camille.
Alexandra: So what’s our game plan?
Nicole: To start, we assess the damage we’ve suffered, and present claims for redress to Senhor Elvin.
Panel 4
Avila
Avila: I heard that Elvin is going to sue the builders of that dam.
Nicole: Let him. If he wins, he’ll have more cash to pay us when we beat him.
Panel 5
Alexandra
Alexandra: Maybe not. He used an off-world contractor who might be a galaxy away by now.
Adelaide: Can we take it out of his hide?
Panel 6
The women react with eyes wide and pursed lips to Nicole’s next line.
Nicole: His hide isn’t worth beans.
Nicole: We could take his land if he can’t pay us.
