Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)
Panel 1
Greene is still standing next to the table where Nicole is seated, she resignedly indicates the other chair to him.
Nicole: I'm not really feeling very sociable at the moment, but ...
Nicole: … what the hell. You're good-looking. Have a seat.
Panel 2
Now seated, Greene taps an order into the table-top screen while he smiles at Nicole. She looks back at him dubiously.
Greene: Well, I hope I don't disappoint. I'm Rando Greene.
Nicole: Nicole Oresme. I'm from L-5 City and tough shit if you don't like it.
Panel 3
A cocktail (Rum and coke) rises up from a slot in the table center.
Rando: Peace, sister! I've been to your city many times.
Rando: Beautiful place, even though I'll always love my fair Luna.
Panel 4
Nicole remains sullen. Rando enters a drink order on the menu in the table before him.
Nicole: Your fair Lunans don't seem to care much for L-5ers
Rando: Uh-oh. I hope you didn't go to Bully Goat Tavern.
