Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Transcript For Strip 280
Panel 1Entrance to v, with a large identifying sign. Rando and Nicole and a few extras are walking towards the entryway, which is a broad metal archway leading into a rocky grotto.
Nicole: The Davis Caverns – has all the markers of a tourist trap.
Rando: I promise they let you go after they extract the price of a t-shirt from you.
Panel 2
A group of 8 tourists, including Nicole and Rando, are gathered on a circular railed platform. They all orient towards the Tour-guide, a femiform android.
Tour-guide: … recomend u keep ur armz inside teh rail at all timez.
Rando (sotto voce): And no shooting jackrabbits.
Nicole: {giggle}

The platform rises and cruises above a magnetic track, through a broad but rough-sided interior built completely up along the side walls. What we see of the overhead is rocky.
Tour-guide: THEES NEAR-SURFACE CAVERNS HAS BEEN ENLARGED AN RE-BUILT 3 TIEMS SINCE TEH REVOLUSHUNARY YEERS.
Panel 4
The platform moves along a busy avenue, with other mag-lev vehicles, some pedestrians, and even people in bubbs.
